May Day '15

Most of the times one tends to ignore the small things people do for you, which in hind sight turns out to be the epicenter of the work you do, is the core of what you achive and it often drives towards what you eventually become.

The attached image is of my office table. Am sharing this as its a gesture to the person who for many years has worked at the office of Smt. Nandini Satpathy Memorial Trust (SNSMT) and has kept the work space clean, welcoming and energized.

This post of mine is dedicated for all those people who selflessly work hard to support the achievements of others and are never acknowledged. I am sure you too have such people in your support system, do acknowledge them, cherish them and respect them.

I wish every laborious person a happy labour day (May 1- May Day).

Now that I have managed to keep your attention till here I must use this to bring in a very important point to you, that in the past two decades the number of industries have mindlessly increased in Odisha but in proportion the registered industrial labour force has declined. The matter needs serious probe & correction. It actually is a not so happy Labour Day (May Day) in Odisha.
